HOW TO JOIN

If you are interested in joining the team, fill out this form to stay in the loop about tabling events and information meetings.

To be a full member, students must pay the club fees by the set due date and provide their own ski racing equipment. Members must follow USSA equipment regulations for U19 and older, and have a FIS approved helmet for Giant Slalom races. Members must wear a chin bar, or mouth guard for Slalom races.

Fall Social Events

Because we cannot get onto the snow until late November, we host several fall events so new members can get to know the team better. These events consist of camping trips, fun hikes, tailgating, football game watch parties, backyard get-togethers, and more. We want students to see what we are about and these events are a great place to start!

Races and Training

We have four race weekends all over the state of Colorado beginning at the start of January and going through February. We race against other Rocky Mountain schools such as University of Colorado Boulder, Rocky Mountain College, University of Denver, Colorado State University, and more! After these four regular season races, we head off to the Western Region Championships where we race against other schools in the Northwest.

We will hold training 2-4 days a week at Solitude. We highly encourage training as it decreases the chance of injury, makes you a better racer, and is a great way to bond with the team.

To wrap up our season, we host a ski team formal as an excuse to dress up, bring a plus one, and spend the weekend with the team at a nice house in Bear Lake, Idaho for the weekend. We relax and hold a ceremony to congratulate our top scorers, best, worst, and funniest moments to come from the season.
